Second Chance Animal Sanctuary and Rescue is a family run not for profit organization founded in 2021 in Owen Sound, Ontario. The sanctuary was created from a lifelong passion for helping animals and offers a safe and compassionate home where farm animals can live with dignity and without exploitation. The founders, Angela and Sunil, are deeply rooted in their farming community and work to inspire a broader understanding that these animals have value beyond industry use while also sharing the benefits of compassionate and plant based living.

Alongside the sanctuary, the organization operates a foster based dog rescue that supports dogs from a variety of backgrounds across Canada and abroad. Each dog is welcomed into a temporary foster home where they receive care, stability, and love until they are placed with their forever families. Second Chance is committed to advocacy, education, and hands on rescue work, and relies entirely on donations, with every contribution going directly toward animal care and the maintenance of their living spaces.
